How do you create a "perfect" photo day at school? Here are some tips from our expert photographers!

Pick their clothes ahead of time,
so your kid's favourite shirt isn't
in the hamper on photo day!

Glasses are ok!
Our photographers can
reduce glare in editing

Haircuts should be scheduled
two weeks in advance.
That way, fresh cuts have
grown out a bit.

Kids shouldn't feel forced
to smile, otherwise, it
can look too posed. We'll
find the right moment to find
their natural glow!

FRENQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is it safe to have a photo day during Covid?
Yes, Canada Health Regulations has allowed photographers to enter schools as long as we are following guidelines. All photographers will wear a mask, face shield and sanitize all props. They will also keep a distance of 6 feet away at all times.

Do we have to order our children's photos online?
Yes. We would prefer that you order online. If you are having difficulty please feel free to email us at info@htphotog.com.

When and where will our photos be delivered?
All orders made by the online order deadline date will be bulk shipped to the school. These orders will arrive within two weeks after the deadline date. All late orders will be shipped directly to the parent's home address.

Can we choose a different background?
No. Unfortunately, the background cannot be changed after the photos have been taken. The background and poses have been previously selected by the school.

Are there retakes available?
Yes. Please contact us by email at info@htphotog.com to find out more information on our retake days. When sending an email, please include your child's name, class info (example 3AM), school and location (example ABC Preschool at 123 Play Street, Vancouver, BC).

What if I missed my school's order deadline date and still want to place an order?
No problem. You have one year to place an order on our online ordering system and the order will be sent directly to your home. Please Note: All late shipping orders will be charged an additional processing and handling fee.
